Accreditation

CLS began the formal process of Accreditation in the fall of 2013, working through the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA). This is a process of self-evaluation followed by a visit of objective observers, designed to evaluate schools based on their unique purpose as Lutheran schools. It helps schools evaluate not only the quality of the academics and programs, but also most importantly the spiritual dimension of the school.

I am excited to share that we did in fact complete all of the necessary requirements for our first-ever National Lutheran School Accreditation site visit back in April of 2015. The site team provided a wonderful, glowing report for us and it was such an awesome blessing to walk alongside our Early Childhood Center as they too received the highest level of recognition, five years. In late July we received official confirmation of our status and in turn, the celebration began! On Sunday, September 20, 2015 during the 10:45 am worship service, there was an official presentation and recognition of our Education Center presented by Mr. Jim Bradshaw, Assistant to the President for Educational Services at the Kansas District Office.
